Pure - Fresh - Delicious

About Red Jacket Orchards

Located in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of New York State along the rolling hills of Seneca Lake, Red Jacket Orchards has mastered the art of harvesting and pressing premium fruits and juices.   Three generations of the Nicholson family have grown apples and summer fruits, including berries, currants, cherries, peaches, plums and the largest apricot orchard on the East Coast.  Founded in 1958, what began as a local apple farm has grown to a 600-acre family orchard producing fresh fare, cold-pressed juices and pantry items.

Red Jacket Orchards uses integrated pest management techniques to reduce the need for pesticides as much as possible and has been supporting sustainability since they opened 55 years ago.  Baldor has been selling their apple-based juices, donut peaches, golden apricots and yellow and red sugar plums in clamshells every summer and fall.   They chop their fresh fruit and press the cold mash into juice using the traditional “rack and cloth” methods right on the orchard in their L.E.E.D. certified juice processing facility.  The juice is kept cold to maintain its freshness. Red Jacket does not add any enzymes or do anything to “clarify” the juice, and the process is completely devoid of heat save for the critical step in their flash pasteurization process to ensure safety.  Enjoy the Zagat-rated “Best on the Planet” flavors of refreshing, healthful juices, locally made right at the orchard.

Our family has been practicing farm-to-table for over 50 years, it's our ethos.  We capture the true essence of every fruit that we grow, and are bringing it from our orchard into homes across the country.
