Farmland Fresh Dairies began as a family dairy with a small number of cows in 1914 in Fair Lawn, NJ. "Max Goldman's Dairy" delivered milk to local homes in the traditional "horse and wagon" manner.....ladling out milk from stainless steel cans to the community he served. Based on exceptional and consistent quality, the business grew through the decades and with the support and hard work of a second and third Goldman generation, a "state of the art" facility was built which produced the largest variety of dairy products available in the northeast. Farmland led the industry by demanding a hormone free milk supply from its farmers, and introduced Skim Plus, the most successful value added product in the history of the milk business to that point. In the late 1980's Farmland heroically challenged the constitutionality of New York milk laws, and millions of consumers benefitted through reduced and fair milk prices as Farmland became the first NJ milk processor to cross the Hudson River. The consumer and customer trust that has been built over the past 100+ years has enabled Farmland to become the premier dairy brand in the metro Tri-State marketplace. Farmland’s broad assortment includes heavy cream in both 36% and 40% varieties, half and half, cultured buttermilk and REAL aerosol whipped cream.
