The Caciotta Tartufo, or Caciotta Truffle is produced with 100% Italian milk, salt, rennet and real pieces of Italian black summer truffle. It is a fresh cheese which does not require aging. The cheese is characterized by the strong taste of truffle that is perfectly balanced by the sweet taste of milk. The truffle taste is present but not persistent although when paired with charcuterie it is definitely the protagonist of the table. The Caciotta Truffle is pale yellow in color and the black truffle is clearly visible.
