Mountaire is a vertically integrated farm that controls every aspect of production from hatcheries to feed mills, grow-out barns to processing. They are known for sustainably producing jumbo birds. They are also One Health Certified; a program designed by Iowa State University and recognized by USDA which focuses on animal welfare and disease prevention. Unlike sized chicken breasts that must fit into a specific weight, random breasts vary in weight depending upon availability, the time of year, and the market. Random chicken breasts are always boneless and skinless and are typically packed as a single lobe.
