About Nettle Meadow Farm

In 2005, Sheila Flanagan and Lorraine Lambiase acquired the historic Nettle Meadow Farm, originally established in the 1840’s and nestled in the Adirondacks of New York.

What began with just 36 mixed-breed goats soon expanded to include goats, sheep and cows. They quickly established their unique and innovative line of artisanal cheeses, becoming a nationally distributed, award-winning dairy, with more than 60 prestigious cheese awards over the past 15 years.

In 2020, Nettle Meadow moved to a state-of-the-art facility in Lake Luzerne, NY, becoming a vibrant community hub with a new generation of talented cheesemakers, while the original farm now serves as a non-profit sanctuary for retired local animals.

It may very well be the sexiest cheese in the U.S.A. Made from a blend of goats’ milk and rich Jersey cream, it’s the kind of cheese that’ll make you swoon. This fluffy-rinded, triple creme delight is a product of Nettle Meadow Farm, nestled in the southeast corner of the Adirondacks.
