This new-to-the-world variety from Row 7 Seed Company is the result of a multi-year collaboration with lettuce breeder Bill Waycott. Based in California's Salinas Valley, the epicenter of the commercial lettuce industry, Bill grew disillusioned by the trend toward uniformity and shelf life at the cost of nutrition and flavor. He set out to begin his own independent breeding company, choosing to instead focus on developing more nutritious and more delicious lettuce varieties.
