Foraged Pacific Northwest tendrils are a little different from the east coast Pea Tendrils we're used to seeing as they're cut from the leafy tips of the pea plant and feature more leaf and stalk attached. This gives them more body than true pea tendrils which are usually scattered as a garnish over foods. The sweet pea flavor is all there, only more so. Serve these wild tendrils on their own, lightly steamed or stir fried with a pinch of salt or sugar or add them to a saute of mixed spring greens like wild dandelion, chard and baby spinach.
