Sanguinelli are the last of the Italian blood oranges to arrive on the scene and are now grown in California. Like Taroccos, they arrive mid-late winter and can last into April. Sanguinelli are more oval shaped than other blood oranges and not quite as zesty tasting. Their dark colored pulp contains lots of sweet, navel-like juice.
