Freshness is the key to a flavorful onion and turnover is the key to freshness. Baldor buys and sells tons of onions in a year and our variety is comparable to none. In addition to common red, yellow and white varieties, we sell the relatively exotic cippolini year round now with supplies coming from Italy, Canada or the mid-West depending on the season. Multi-colored pearl onions in white, yellow, red and a combination pack of all three are Baldor staples.
Sweet onions are our forte and we boast year-round supplies from varied sources. “Texas 1015’s”, Maui Sweets, Oso Sweets, Vidalia’s and VeriSweets - the ultimate summer onion - are all stocked by Baldor.
