Our lettuce inventory encompasses over 30 varieties and makes distinctions between Italian or California frisee, North American or Italian radicchio, Romaine Hearts or Wood Romaine. All our head lettuces (romaine, bibb, boston, iceberg) and leafy vegetables such as chard, dandelion and escarole are cultivated on this continent and arrive within days of harvest. Specialties such as tat soi, mache, braising mix and baby arugula are standard fare at Baldor. We have five kinds of hydroponic lettuce at any given time and the biggest inventory of B & W watercress in the Northeast.
